So Zivas heart. It was a good read. I thought the end from Somalia to waking up with Tony need a softer transition...your going from this horrible numbing pain to this stark joy. You know its Ziva's voice but u have to read to identify the 'him' and your emotions are going ' what am i supposed to feel as i read this?' disgust that she's still being tortured in Somalia or... See my dilema?

This is definitely one of your best pieces. I especially loved the style and the repetetive little phrases now and then.

Just one thing - the bit where she holds a gun to the face of the guy she just slept with, was it in an episode? Or did you make it up? If it's an episode, do you remember which one? Thanks :)

I can't believe that I missed this. This was an incredible story, truly. Every word was perfectly written and the flow almost read as a poem. This (and so many of your other stories) was wise and insightful beyond your years. Amazing work, my friend.

Just so beautiful. I loved the journey this story depicted; something wonderful rising from the ashes. But this:

"There is no going back, but she should never have been taken alive in the first place. Alas is her penance for her sins."

is the saddest part. GREAT look at Ziva's constantly evolving character and her outlook on love.

Gosh, this was beautiful. Although it is quite saddening, you managed to weave in that underlying bit of hope that I always imagined Ziva to cling on to I could actually see the ending happening whilst I was reading it. I loved it!
