This was a phenomenal fanfiction you've wrote. I, personally, love saddening stories such as this mainly because it seems more logical in a sense. Thank you for your well written take on Dave Karofsky's unfortunate life.

I still think Karofsky is a creep, and that the Dave/Kurt pairing is creepy, but you make me have a little bit of sympathy for him.

This story is really fascinating and a great read! :-)

It also just makes me wish that more people were aware of the fact that - tons and tons and tons of religious-scholars have repeatedly PROVEN that NEITHER God, the Bible NOR the true ‘Christian’ faith “condemns" homosexuality or anyone being gay.

These very same scholars have SHOWN that those few verses in the Bible that some rather unlearned people MISTAKENLY think/thought are/were speaking of "homosexuality" … ARE/WERE (in reality) actually REFERRING TO … the horrific and condemnable practices of EITHER:

- 1) Rape (i.e. Sexual-Assault);

- 2) Pederasty (i.e. Child-Molestation) AND / OR

- 3) Pagan-Temple Sex-Rites (i.e. Religious-Brothels) … most of which involved the used of “Catamites” (i.e. ‘Child-Prostitutes’)

As is well-known, in their efforts to become a hate-mongering power-elite, the so-called "Religious Right"(RR) have chosen to continually LIE both to and about the gay-community for decades (hoping that no one would dare research the RR and expose them and their lies).

(What's interesting about all of this is that most members of the RR will constantly quote from the King James Version (KJV) Bible in an effort to unfairly attack gay people.

What’s ironic about that is the fact that most of the members of the RR are clearly UNAWARE that their beloved KING JAMES (of KJV-fame) was an openly GAY man - and one of the main reasons he commissioned the KJV, said the be the ‘most accurate’ of all Bible versions, was to prove to the world that God loved and accepted gay people.

This also refutes the widely believed myth that the KJV is homophobic - when, in reality, it was the post-KJV versions that attacked gay people – while the KJV did not attack being gay.)

So anyway - GREAT story – and it just makes me wish that more people were informed that NEITHER God, the Bible NOR the true ‘Christian’ faith “condemns" homosexuality or anyone being gay.

This story really stands out among all the crap that is this site. I wish I could write like this. You are an amazing writer, and I was engrossed by Dave and his troubles. Thank you for writing this.

Okay just gotta say a couple of things. first of all i really really love this story and i haven't even read it all and i still love it! :.) Second thing i wanted to say is that Dave's mom is bitch in this story! i would never ever ever not even in million years say or do things to my child like that! if i ever have a child i would teach them about love and acceptance and i would love them for who they are no matter what they did or who there with, love is love! Damn people like Dave's parents piss me the fuck off! it's like : Are you serious? go take your hate somewhere else cause i don't want to hear it!"

Every time I come to fanfiction I do so hoping that I will find a story that will justify the amount of unreadable c_r_a_p I need to sift through. Most of the time, after 10 minutes, I leave the site wondering why I keep coming back. And then it happens, I find a story that very well turns wasted minutes of search into invested time. Yours is one of those. It is heartfelt, moving, incredibly sad without being sappy, and somehow tastes true. Maybe is that the actor that plays Dave conveys the same forlorn feeling you recreate with words, but I could see the face of your Dave through every line. You treated him with dignity and compassion as a character, and left him lost at the end. And even though you warned us with the title that he would not find his way, at least not for now, you anyway managed to keep us guessing and wishing for it not to be true. I appreciate the time you put in this story.
