I loved this! I wish we’d had confused, garbled Sam trying to make sense of his memories. But this is a great substitute! You capture Dean’s familiarity with Sam so well and it was a lot of fun to read. Thanks for writing and sharing!

Thanks first for Sam's jumbled thoughts and brain trying to work his exhaustion out. But also - thank you for the other side of the same conversation - from Dean's side, as he's working out Sammy-speak. And YES - it was good to have Sammy sitting next to me again. Life was damn near perfect.

I loved this: Sam's scattered thoughts, bits of random facts, seemingly unconnected but circling back and Dean's repeated thought, again and again, of how good it was to have Sammy back with him again. Your words convey clearly Sam's muddled desperate desire for stability and Dean's exhausted relief and gratitude.

Wow, this was an incredible bit of character study. I am favoriting this so I can find it again for future reference! :D
