Holy cow, this is wonderful! I like the way you present Charlie as someone who puposely doesn't let himself suspect any of the weirdness going on around him unless he has no choice. He's smart enough to know it's probably safer that way. It always kind of bugged me in canon that here's this seemingly intelligent man, a trained police officer, and he never seems to suspect *anything* out of the ordinary?

Plus Luna's here, so that automatically makes it a good story.
