And to treat them like deatheaters and hide for their lives is frankly insulting. Hermione wasn't being reasonable, but Rose was being a brat. Al and James were both perfect - I felt sorry for Al, because Ginny was there which pressured him (lol she was perfect whacking his head with the prophet) but I think James held up pretty well against his aunt - I liked him a lot, and his loyalty to his cousin and taking her side and actual forethought made a huge impact to his character. They were both really helpful with telling Draco what was up with Scorpius, tbh. I think the RoseDraco interaction was one of the best I've ever read. She had brilliant lines and was witty and he was reasonable and could acknowledge when she was being impressive - if only in his own head. This was fantastic. Jane xx |
