Mimi Lind chapter 1 . 20h
What a great start!
Guest chapter 43 . 7/18
*Heaves a deep contend was a long way. You summed up the story quite nicely through the last two chap. Question: was it story conventional that you killed off narcissa and draco? If its because of that I can understand, somewhat (a lot of things were made easier for ss and hg/ss's relationship) but I didn't like that. Not because I'm being biased or anything, he was a spoiled brat but still. I think you know what I'm trying to say, you made this fic afterall. Please don't take any offence to that as I don't mean any, I had nothing but good things to say throughout the story. That's just a honest to curious ques. Again, appreciate your work, I have this on fav.

It's perfect and they are so real in this story. I love it!
Guest chapter 26 . 7/17
That went better than i thought it would. But, i forgot your way of writing is different, its more logical, practical and far more...realistic. Not just renseless bashing. I have said it before and i will say again your fic just made my taste more expensive, others more or less feels shallow. Its making me nervous though, still have the rest to read, anything could go wrong or maybe not. Really appreciate your work.

Just a comment and small correction. I have MS and you described it properly except for one point. MS is when the immune system attacks the myelin sheathing (coating) of the nerves ... in the brain. If the nerves... in the body... are attacked it has a different name.

Obviously, the nerves in the body are affected, but only because nerve impulses start in the brain, again, obviously.

It's a huge difference if you have these diseases, but not so huge if you don't. So most readers won't even notice. Just thought I'd make that one small correction, otherwise it's very well described.

And, yes, it is a very scary disease. However, since I have 5 autoimmune diseases the worst being in my bone marrow... it's ... almost normal to treat it as an afterthought. Odd, I know!

So Severus wouldn't be as worried as he would have been, even with it progressing. It's ... almost... expected to progress when you have lived with it and therefore not a surprise when it does. I know his isn't exactly MS, just similar, but psychological effects are similar in diseases that try and kill you. Ie: stop your heart beating, your diaphragm moving, etc. Scary, expected (to a degree) and normal all at the same time!

Also, Severus wants to be helped without being pitied and thought of as unable to do what he can do. It's just in a slightly different manner that he accomplishes things than others do. So, that was well done, too.

I won't hound you, if you don't correct this. I may, however, forget I have made this comment when I reread this in another year or 2. Another lovely side effect of nerve endings being attacked, you forget things more so than normal. lol! Please don't be offended if I do comment again at that point.

Beefuf chapter 43 . 6/29
This is my second time reading this beautiful story. It captured me the first time and I couldn’t put it down...it has done the same this time and I know that it will do again when I return to read it in the future.
ReuillyDiderot chapter 43 . 6/21
It’s just beautiful, thank you for carefully plotting the long way they two have gone together. It’s such a long and minutious healing process, my eyes wet when Sev finally got the real medal he deserved. I loved absolutely the many dialogues and speechesdifficult to imagine that Sev would speak that much, but he’s so eloquent and his words contain so many truths. I know it’s written long ago, but can’t help hoping that you keep writing.
Guest chapter 9 . 6/20
That was really well written. So good it touched some chords. But maybe some should have personal experience to that. Hope you are alright. Ah severus's welcoming speech to his house was well written too.
MissOceanborn chapter 43 . 6/19
I adored this so much! It was exactly what I needed. Thank you so much.
Mads chapter 1 . 6/4
I’d just like you to know that this story is on my ereader permanently and I’ve reread it many many times as a comfort read. The themes are good and the romance is satisfying and you stick the hell out of the landing at the end. Showing believable scenes from the future to show the relationship keeps building on the foundations laid out is my favorite. Anyway. You’ve unknowingly given me hours of comfort so this review is the least I could do. :)
Guest chapter 43 . 5/22

unusuallymedicated chapter 43 . 5/14
Read the entire thing in only a few short days. This was absolutely fantastic and very in character. A truly wonderful read.
TheVintagesoul chapter 1 . 5/8
One of the best character baseddialogues based fiction I came across.
ashjoeksa chapter 43 . 4/29
This story was amazing! I love how involved you are with your reviewers (I don't usually post reviews but I've been reading alot lately and am trying to review each story). I was kinda hoping for some miracle Hermione would get pregnant but it was still a happy ending. Someone actually recommended this story to me because I was thinking of the song "posion" by Alice Cooper and could see Severus saying something along those lines to Hermione haha. Anyways it was amazing, loved every word...except Minevra being such a you know what!
sisz chapter 12 . 4/28
Thank you for this fantastic story! The plot is refreshingly different from so many SSHG fics out there, more believable somehow and with so much depth going into the psychological. But really I‘m just in this for their hilarious teasing and banter!
