Somehow surprising turn if we look back... First it seemed like a romantic story of Heero seducing Duo, then it got a middleage touch with castles and vamps and then at the end it reminded me at ancient Rome with gladiators fighting in front of a cheering crowd... But this was a great story and a pleasure to read! Well done! *cheers* Good luck for your next works and thanks for this one!

I stumbled upon this yesterday, and I tried pacing myself, but it was too good! I really enjoyed what you have so far. I can't wait to see the conclusion! The only thing I have to say is one bit of concrit: it should be allowed, not aloud. Other than that, this is really well written! It's a well paced story, and I eagerly await the next chapter!

I wouldn't mind if it takes longer So far the story is great! I wonder whether Duo is of a special kind as Heero mentioned a certain 'taste' of his blood in the beginning. Maybe something about Shinigami? Maybe some more powers? All vamp can teleport, but there are more possibilities... Like Quatre's empathy for example or Trowa's talent with animals...

Tch! That chapter didn't ruin anything. It clarified a lot of the plot, and allowed for some good character development. Sometimes these sort of 'filler'-ish chapters are necessary to move a story along and progress things properly. Much as we hate to write them and are never quite satisfied with how they turn out, they serve a purpose. *Without* them, the fic would be ruined; it isn't ruined *by* them.

Plus, you'll be happy to know that I still enjoyed this-it was good to see some of the Duo we all know and love come into his own. Yay vampire!Duo! *cheers*
