I this it’s so cute though, it is really out of character and some things were a little too much but I mean it was written so long ago that it’s forgivable. The idea is there and it’d be such a fun crack fic to re-write, but a couple things I would suggest are to look into the style of that time period speech wise and maybe have a focus on who’s obviously not gonna get with pony and like two people who are so that way it’s fun for the readers to pick up on clues and figure it out and then at the end either be totally right or totally wrong, ya know? Also, would you ever consider posting this on AO3? I really like this regardless of how it’s aged and I hope to see more! Keep it up

Personally i think youre doing a great job and i would love to see where this goes! Theres not alot of ponyboy/soc fics that dont end up as nice like this one (i totally love Eric lol) and if you do rewrite it ill keep rooting for them (but i love the drama so im definetly going to root for the others lmfaooo)

I really enjoy this story, but, yeah, I think you should rewrite this. Dont scrap the idea. I have an suggestion, but of course you dont have to follow it. I think I initially read this fanfic because I wanted a romance story but a break from female ocs and relationships within the gang. I was actually a bit disappointed when there was so much gang x ponyboy. I mean, I tolerated it because the entire thing was still really good. I really enjoy the characters youve made. They're really well made. However, my suggestion is that you put more detail in their appearance because youve provided really general appearances. Also put in more detail in their personalities. They all come out as really bland characters, especially Eric. I also believe that the gang were too ooc. But you have the general idea on how they are, which is a great. It's been a while and you've probably grown a lot as a writer so I dont think that it will be too hard. Other than that, perfect. You did really well and I do hope you continue this.

If you want a direction to go, you can possibly put what it's like to come out or dealing with being gay during that time period.

This is really turning into an essay. I'm so sorry if you think that I'm insulting your writing style. Im not. This is just instructive criticism. I really enjoy it and if I can help you grow more as a writer I will do just that. Also, I have to say that i, as sick as it is, really love ponyboy x Jake. I just really like his fire even though it would not end up as a good relationship. I think I just have a twisted love for darker themed things instead of butterscotch and candy relationships.
