yeah, this is definitely from monster hunter. Only in monster hunter do you have to put away your bigass weapon, run to the monster, and then take it out again. So tedious...

These "bad ends" in the middle of the story are not really something I've seen authors use to this extent. not only do they acknowledge what could have happened but they also reveal more of the lore of the story.

I really liked this chapter, like the others it takes me a while to catch on to the flashbacks but once I do it instantly becomes more enjoyable.

This is a really interesting concept! The summary is terrible! The summary makes you think it's just going to be amature trash story but now im actually kinda into it.

Hello! I know you probably won’t care to read this, but I found this fan fiction again finally! My name is Mackenzie Knight. When I was younger, I loved this story. Read the whole thing in a month or two at school. This story stuck with me and to this day, when I went to name my newest hunt, a shiny Sneasel, I named her Zerobi. I remember everything about this story, and that’s saying something - because I read this on Marilland 5 years ago. This story inspired me to get back into writing at the age of 11 when I read this, and I’m publishing my first book, titled Postmortem, sometime within the next year if all goes well with the publishing company. I really owe a lot to you, this story kept me going during one of my lowest points. I always wanted to see what happened next. I remember speaking with you in-between updates and mourning the death of a certain pink Pokémon... And thus, I’ve named a side character in my book Zerobi with credit to you in your honor.
Thanks for everything. This is one of my only happy memories of the latter parts of my childhood I have left, and I cherish it.
