I had that sad OST that plays during the scene when she's coming down to him and he's having flashbacks playing in my head practically the whole way through this. This is great, as are the other pieces I've read but not commented on.

This is one of the most beautiful GinxRangiku stories I've come across! So amazingly well written :) I love the way you elaborated on the flashbacks. You described their relationship in Gin's POV perfectly :) Well done :D keep up the great work

ow, my feelings! read this at work, and i had to step out for a breather and shed some tears (no joke). it's beautifully written from Gin's perspective, and truly showed how terribly tragic (though beautiful) his relationship was with Rangiku. i don't think i'll ever be the same after this. bravo!

This was beautifully written. Although it is quite obvious that Gin chose to betray Soul society since the beginning (IE already scheaming with Aizen against their own taicho Hirako Shinji ) for the sole purpose of Rangiku's happinness, I haven't seen it often stated nor so well written in other fictions. To many, Gin remains a traitor; a traitor who was in love but still someone evil. Which obviously, he was not. He certainly is the most heroic one of them all out there and no one in the Gotei 13 might ever realise it :(

I also liked the fact that you made the shinigamis he killed part of the group of Aizen's men who had previously hurt Rangiku. (though once again, it seemed pretty obvious to be the case, Kubo never stated clearly in the manga.)

Anyhow, I really praise your work here. It just flowed perfectly well together, between Gin's memories and the present time. I loved how you portrayed his relationship with Rangiku. It really fits them well :)
