Very interesting indid. Not understanding a lot jet, but looking forwards to more

What a unique spin approach ...one of contrasts with canon. The protected and privileged upbringing of an adopted Merlin relative to Arthur, a street wise surviver makes the story gritty. The interaction between Arthur and Uther adds an interesting element as each try to come terms with the other. The biggest surprise is the role,although minor that Geoffrey plays. Great story. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you.

I read all 30 chapters of this in one go! I just couldn't tear myself away. There were a lot of punctuation errors that I noticed near the end, but I still enjoyed the story very very much. Thank you for sharing this world to us readers.

Camelot didn't "morph into Britain" at all. Albion is Britain. Camelot was around Cornwall, I think.

Albion does still exist. It's a really old name for the UK.

Surely they'd just kill Merlin while they had him? I mean, the legend can't play out without both of them, right? So why'd they want Arthur so badly?

Well, I don't. I understand the reasoning, but not how the situation came about.

Why does Morgana never use her magic if she has it? Why do people always turn to Merlin if Morgana has it too?

Why is no one ever after Merlin?
I presume the legend can't play out without Merlin either?

So, can Morgana do magic or not?
And I applaud your Merlin/Gwaine. They're friggin' adorable!

If they're descended from the people in the legend, wouldn't that make Lancelot and Gwen/Arthur and Gwen related? And Morgana would still be Uther's daughter, if I'm understanding this correctly?

In BBC's Merlin, Thomas is Gwen and Elyan's surname. It was never said on screen, but Bradley James said he remembered Gwen's dad's name because he was Tom Thomas/Tomas.
However, in the legend, I haven't a clue, so maybe lure right. After all, on the TV show, they spelt Igraine like Ygraine.

I'm sorry if my previous review caused offence in any way. I am not trying to underestimate everything Arthur's been through. It wasn't my intention at all.
I also should have finished the chapter before reviewing. I also like Gwaine thinking about what happened to Merlin back when they were at school.
I am thoroughly enjoying this well-written FanFiction, and I intend to read to the end.

I like Gwen's storyline a lot, but every chapter seems to have another thing to make you pity Arthur.
I'm sure the others also have tragic stories too?
Just a thought.
