This is such high quality fluff. Although I was expecting something more along the lines of Uchiha Itachi's long, arduous, and awkward journey from the friend zone.

D'aww, young Shisui and Itachi. I love how open you make Shisui. He would certainly do a better job of befriending the iron, stoic-faced Itachi than a more respectable and conservative kid. His mistaking Itachi for a girl reminds me of Naruto thinking Haku's a girl.

The cuteness is brain-melting. I can almost see Itachi's miffed face. Your Shisui is so awesomely opposite to Itachi that they make a hilarious pair.

Not that your usual incredibly crafted tragedies aren't wonderful too, but I'm just so happy for the recent slew of fluffy/hopeful stories.

Yay indeed. Very adorable, loved the fresh take on it. Baby Itachi and Shisui on a battlefield gets old after a while, and this is plausible. Loved the characterization of Shisui. This was light, but at the same time rather haunting for some reason. Great job.
