I really like this story I hope you can still continue it :)

Just saying that Harrys thoughts are incorrect as if Dumbledore had just said neglect you than the sentence would not have made sense. Unless of course the sentence was ended after neglect you. Rereading this currently and I remember liking it. So far it is meeting my expectations.

Nah, Voldemort acted just as he would have. Insane Voldemort others were expecting have clearly been reading too many "Mary Sue Harry" Dark fics. Some authors can write the insanity so well that the readers begin to think that's actually the original character. Meanwhile, in truth, you pin-pointed Voldemort's character down masterfully. I really can't see him realistically reacting any other way.

It's why I find your story so original and unique because it has its own brand on realism that is unmatched from all the other Harry Potter fanfics I've read, and trust me, I've read A LOT of Harry Potter fanfics.

All in all, this is a story I will remember. Incomplete or not, it truly is a remarkable read. Take care author, I am intrigued by the idea of visiting Japan.

Brilliance! Absolute brilliance! Characterization is keyed on and both Harry and Voldemort are ingenious! Love your writing, as always, and even if you don't continue this I imagine I'll find myself returning to read this story in the future.

I always found it rather cruel that the professors continued to compare himself to the faults and successes of his parents... never could he be unique to himself, even when he resembled neither his parents at something it was more believed he was leaning toward Voldemort's personality.
I thought it was cruel how they constantly brought up his parents who he never knew, grew up without, and wasn't affected by either or their quirks growing up. Even worse how he looked so alike to them, that he would forever be a shadow of them in those who knew his parent's in their eyes. I believe his true self was what led him towards Slytherin but because of the way his relatives raised him he just wanted to be accepted and not judged, and if he had to become more like his parents to get that attention than he would... he became more like his mother and father because he was conditioned to become that way by those around them. And I think he always knew it, but constantly lied to himself.

And then there's that disturbing realization that he likes red-heads after his father, in other words liking women who look like his mother, there's a word for it but I can't remember, just that's its disturbing and not at all accurate with Harry considering his interest in Chang because she more or less broke his heart, hence him loving what already had interest in him in order to minimize the hurt.

I'm empathetic so knowing Harry wore a mask to be accepted, and gladly becoming self-sacrificing I just find so cruel. It's why I love fanfiction so much and how an author brings out that self-realization and rebellion in Harry. One who doesn't want to be compared to his parents or Voldemort but rather become himself.

All in all, I really enjoy this story so far. Even with all the character death! :D

It's not at all confusing! This is very original. Very eye-capturing (pun intended, sorry) and overall I am enjoying this story almost as much as I am enjoying the number of chapters this story has.

...Don't shoot the messenger! Technically it was Dumbledore. Shoot him all you like... Hagrid will just be indirect collateral damage.

Still... hopelessly... waiting. It's so good! Please update.
