Very nice ficlet, that truly echoes the camaraderie of the four when they were together all the time. I love the Magic Steps series, so much I had them in hardcover at one point until they accidentally got put in a yard sale. But for some reason I haven't read 'will of the empress.' I wish Tamora would return to this universe soon.

Wow, creepy! I absolutely loved the ending of this. It was intense and so creepy. I think the beginning made them sound a little young with the yelling and running and pranks, but the story definitely picked up by the end. Loved the ending paragraph - so chilling!
