This was touching. I liked how well you gave Rachel and voice and character of her own.

This was great, I was very touched during the funeral scenes too.

A refreshing take on House as an unconventional 'father' figure for Rachel; no untoward sentimentality, just an exploration of House's strengths (caring enough for Cuddy to want to spare her pain) and weaknesses (not caring enough for Rachel to be bothered by how it is for her to grow up being neglected by him). But as House already said of his father, 'it wasn't all bad.'

I've read all your one-shots and this one made me cry at the end!

I loved Rachel's point of view of her mom, Wilson and House and her relationship with each of them.

I think House and Rachel would like each other a bit more and they would play pranks on Cuddy and stuff.

I loved how clear you wrote Rachel's respect for House. So true.

Really cool story. There IS a strange, yet touching relationship forming between Rachel and House and this story is a perfect take on it. I hope you write more House/Rachel as this website could use more of them :)
