Well, it been almost 5 years since last update, saddens me that this cliff hanger was left for so long, ah well...it was a nice read :)

This is really good with all the plot twists. I love Neji as a villain. It's a great role for him and it lets Sasuke be somewhat sympathetic instead of a total evil bastard who doesn't deserve Naruto. He shouldn't have allowed Neji to manipulate him like that, but he was 12 and scared about his feelings for Naruto, so I can understand why he got tricked. Naruto is a really interesting character in this because he could go either way: he could easily go through with the revenge like Neji expects, or he could back down like Hinata thinks. Sasuke is in for some heartbreak either way, but the question is, how much heartbreak?

My only criticism for the fic is that it suddenly took a giant leap forward in this chapter. There needed to be more of a transition before this chapter because all of the characters relationships have changed A LOT, but you didn't show it. It's better for character development to show it a little more. Naruto and Sasuke had one sort of friendly moment at the end of the last chapter, and all of the sudden they are calling each other BFFs and spending *Christmas* together? And despite being so scared of his sexuality that he'd cruelly drop Naruto as a friend 5 years ago, suddenly Sasuke feels confident enough to kiss Naruto *in public*? He really needed to wrestle with his feelings a bit more in between the mistletoe kiss that he didn't react to and ran away from to the New Year's Eve kiss. (Look at it from Naruto's perspective, assuming he had originally kissed Sasuke because he liked him. A guy he likes acts totally disinterested in his kiss, starts avoiding him, then a week later out of the blue kisses him at a party? That's totally odd, off-putting behavior.) And then there's the sudden Ino/Sai and Shika/Tema hookups. There needed to be just a little more between all three couples NaruSasu, InoSai, and ShikaTema in order for this chapter to work.

This is good. You haven't updated in a long time but I'd like to tell you that this is amazing and I love it. If you updated I would cry from happiness. Thanks for writing four great chapters, hopefully there will be another one.

Omg, omg, omg! What do you think you've done

I'm speechless. I just found this and now sinking in the deep of emotions. Wow, you create a lot. It's really gut wreching, my heart beats like it's going to attack in any minute. It's a lot of great scene, honey. All the tense and dramatic, I love every charactors, every action of them, you are just super-great. It's so touching really. And it's made me hurt(in an entertaining way lol)

It's more logical that Shikamaru begins to forget about Ino. A person can only take a certain amount of pain till you have to move on. If you take on more, you will eventually break. I hope he will find happiness soon (maybe in form of Temari ;)). One of my favourite scenes are the Naruto-Kyuubi-interactions. They are funny and cute. Everytime Naruto implies that Kyuubi is a pedophilic pervert I can not resist a smile.

Ino doesn't really have Lady Luck on her side, does she?

Who would have thought that Neji is the mastermind behind the destruction of Naruto's and Sasuke's friendship o.o Neji is just freaky with his Naruto obsession ... ... he would be the perfect stalker xD

Sasuke is really desperately yearning for Naruto to be back by his side, isn't he? It's really sad to see that Naruto is so blinded by revenge that he doesn't realize how wrong the path is he is taking. It doesn't mean that you described Naruto's behaviour wrong 'cause who ever has read the manga knows that our dear blond could have turned out like the Naruto in this story: obsessed with revenge and blinded by hate. The plan is going well and this means that Sasuke will be inevitabely hurt by Naruto... hopefully it will end well.

I think it was a good idea that you remade the plot although I also have liked the previous one. Now Naruto and Co. have more depth in their roles so it makes the story more interesting and read-worthy. Especially the porn in the library scene is good 'cause it gives you another conflict in the plot (- Sasuke is secretly gay or bi and can't tell anybody 'cause of family background and other reasons...) besides being really funny. Furthermore the plan of revenge is going on a lower pace which is better for the developement of Sasuke and Naruto's relationship. As a writer you should fix plot holes and if there are too many and you therefore have to restart the story, it can't be helped although it is a bit annoying, earnestly. After 2 chapters I can see that you put a lot of work into it and I#m curious to know how the story will go on. Hopefully you will finish this version and won't restart it ;)

I love it so far. The story is very enjoyable to read. There are a few minor spelling mistakes here and there, but they are easily overlooked. Definitely one of the better written Sasu/Naru stories on the site.
