I don't really understand what happened here, but I liked it anyways.

I absolutely adore this story! You write with such sharp wit. Your sentences are so precise and yet detailed due to your skillful use of the english language. (An example being the word egronomically, which I had to look up and am now very happy to know).

While I loved many sentences in this story, this one really struck me as funny:

"He worried about the interior state of his refrigerator, and had an uncomfortable feeling he might have once owned a cat."

You express so much in such a small amount of text, and the humor of his "uncomfortable feeling" of owning a cat is priceless! And while I've been waxing on your writing style, I'd also like to briefly mention that you also do a great job in terms of characterization. You write really well our lovable duo, from their acts and emotions to their speech patterns. Please keep up the amazing writing!
