I always thought they would be good together. Even with all the clerical thing...though I believe Reverends (not sure what variation of catholicism they belong to) they can marry and have families...

Anyway, I also liked how you handled Tyler here, how he learnt the truth and got to deal with it.

All in all it was a pretty good fic. wish you had written more, some actual, established romance between Jack and Erica...

I absolutely love how you ended this story. So in character for Father Jack. I love the talk he got to have with Tyler, and how they were able to come to an understanding. Really, just brilliant all around, the writing, the concept, the characters, the dialogue. Everything. A I do hope you will write for these two again sometime!

Guh! This chapter. Melts my heart so much. Him cooking and cleaning. Wanting to protect and comfort her while Tyler has his outburst. What a man. He does know her well, and she shows him more of herself than she does anyone else. I love how you ended, and I'm so glad there's another chapter! Great writing, I have really really enjoyed this fic!

Wow, I love this chapter. I could totally picture Jack being all impatient to get to her house, that he would bound out of the car and basically race to pull Erica in his arms, after he was so sure she was dead. I loved her confession that she needed him! And I'm so glad someone is having Tyler find out the truth, that's been badly needed for so long! Great chapter.

You have a very good style in your writing that is easy to read and flows very well. I love all the head space time you give the characters - I'm very much into following the emotional development of the characters I'm reading about and you really deliver.

I think you really captured the characters well and have written a very engaging story that makes you want to read more and more so fantastic job. I must confess I'm still on the fence about who I want to ship - Hobbes or Jack so I'm using fanfic to help me decide. LOL

I'm always drawn towards the bad boys - they make for such interesting characters so Hobbes gets a point but then I'm also drawn towards forbidden love stories so Father Jack gets a point. They are both hot looking guys so that is a point each again. So I'm not making much progress here. LOL And the writing on the show is open ended about where it could go and there is good chemistry between all of the actors so no help there.

I love the angle you've taken with this story with Jack questioning his faith and vocation - can't wait to see where you take this next.
