He was angry in the book because he figured Deryn's secret out on his own, and he was angry that she had kept her secret. I would think his reaction would be very different if she told him herself. (Of course, given the circumstances, emotions are rather more enflamed...) Also, maybe you'll address this later in the fic, but Aleksander's last name isn't Ferdinand- he specifically mentioned it in the canon. Alright, onward to the angst ! |

I'm not that good at writing reviews so sorry if this is short This is actually a good representation of Alek reacting to Deryn's identity. And not to mention you got the voices perfect. And you wrote in a similar way to the books, so I congratulate you. I am sure the REAL Masteress Menore could write a better review, if dragons could read. Masteress Menore is very intelligent, but sadly IT can't read or write. Sorry I went off on a tangent. Anyways... This is awesome |
