It's been a little over three years since the last update, please don't tell me that my number one favorite Naruto & X men crossover story is dead. Come on this story is really going great.

Kinda surprised that Naruto hasn't mentioned Kimmimaro to Evan. Even if their powers aren't identical, that doesn't mean he can't try and experiment to find out which are compatible with his own gift.

Bone armor as found in Vimesenthusiast's "Third Path to the Future" or Contramancer's "Project Shinobi X" comes to mind.

- Stealing hearts.
One thing I've noticed with Rogue, whether it be in the comics, cartoons, movies or anime. It's harder for her to drain a regenerator than it is to drain others.

Not surprising, considering the regeneration refills the life force she's also draining.

• Naruto is a Shinobi and chakra user thus has more life energy than the average human in the Marvel verse.

• Naruto is an Uzumaki, a Clan infamous for their huge chakra pools, stamina, longevity and strong Yang chakra tendency. Meaning the above "numbers" just got tripled at least.

• Naruto is the son of a Jinchuuriki, and has been exposed to Bijuu chakra in the womb, further enhancing him. Doubling the amount of point 2 again at least.

• Naruto is the Jinchuuriki to Kurama's Yang Chakra. So double up the amount of point 3, again it's the minimum amount.

• Naruto is a Sage and has thus further expanded his life force and chakra pool. Doubling again is the minimum amount reasonable.

This means Naruto has so much energy that the odds of her being able to drain him are slim to nonexistent. It would be like trying to drain Apocalypse or Thanos and both those guys are on a different level.

Quite frankly, the sheer amount of energy Naruto has... Well, take one half-god from the Percy Jackson series, inflict them with actual ADHD, then load them up with caffeine, sugar and ambrosia. That ought to be around half of Naruto's output in a best case scenario comparison. It's probably lower, but eh. You get the general idea.

Now what does this mean? Also considering Naruto's adaptive ability?

A) She can't drain him, like she can others.

B) There's a more than decent theoretical chance that trying to drain Naruto would provide her with an on/off switch for her ability.

C) Why? Look up Meiton or Dark Release, then compare it to Rogue's ability and take into consideration that she lacks a chakra network to fuel herself.

Thus requiring her to drain the life force of others.

The theoretical chance comes in from an absorption attempt leading to her developing a chakra network of her own. Which should hurt like hell, considering her age, and make her quite Ill before eventually stabilizing.

But when you consider the sheer amount of Yang chakra Naruto has, trace elements of Nature chakra as well as Kurama's chakra (all of which has healing/mutating aspects) as well as Naruto's adaptability, then it's not an unreasonable premise.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if Rogue had a Shinobi somewhere in her family tree with the Meiton ability. And that her X-Gene simply reactivated it, just with "missing" parts (read no chakra network), which means no control.

It's not as if an accident with Space-Tine Seals couldn't have caused a Shinobi to cross the dimensional barriers. And considering how many Shinobi could pass as Westerners or being biracial, it wouldn't be that hard to blend.

So yeah. How do you think she'd react to a guy who essentially gave her a way to control her powers? Allowing her to touch others again.. One who is quite cute/handsome.

Trying to check if he still has his tonsils with her tongue isn't a farfetched response.

Just saying...

Although I do admit, he and Wanda do make a cute couple.
