Oh my goodness! This chapter was so long and so awesome! :D I honestly couldnt help but shake my head when Caroline started walking towards Tyler's house in the middle of the night because I couldn't help but think: "hasn't this girl learned anything?" but then I laughed when he said, "you're more suicidal than I thought!" LOL! Anyway, this chapter was super interesting for me because we finally dived into Caroline's past and so it's becoming clear why she's always guarded the way she is...I think you did an awesome job explaining it, though I kind of hope more on that will come up again a little in future chapters. Finally, your private message made me LOL this morning :D and just so you know, your writing is terrific! Take it from an English double major ;)
