I watched that one on youtube and started crying. This is a great story. There should be more stories about Ace.

Oh come come on! How the hell did you make the saddest moment of the series even fucking sadder! It's not right, not right at all. It's the saddest thing ever and if I cry and ruin my keyboard you are getting the bill Miss Missy. T_T T_T So sad!

Once again, I hadn't watched the episode before I read this *metal note: stop doing that*. So I didn't get a thing and this originally didn't have a review. But I watched the episode just a few days ago, and now that I reread it I realized that this is one of those stories which deserves so many compliments that no one can voice them all. I think I can safely say that this is one of your best works, in accordance with just about the best episode ending in Justice League Unlimited.

Use of italics, and this time ellipses too, was excellent, again. I'm so glad you understand the importance of EFFECT in writing. Makes imagination vivid for your readers, and easier too. While the mental connection Ace makes with Batman was a nice touch (everything was a nice touch, really), my favorite remains the dance. Particularly, that Batman initiated the dance.

I don't have the words to express what I think of the little dance scene. It was surprising and amazing. It was brilliance in conception and beautiful in execution.

And that's really all I can say about it. I can praise it in circles all night, but nothing can do it justice.

Isn't the "Twinkle twinkle little bat..." verse one of Joker's creations? Either way, in my opinion, that verse holds up the half the fiction. Mention of the origin of Ace's name holds up the other half. You probably intended one of the pillars to be the dance, but I think the dance was more the flesh and blood of the story wrapped in one, and these two parts were the legs, holding the whole thing upright.

Yes, I know I'm like one of those useless literary critics who make mountains out of molehills. Like Shakespeare, I'm pretty sure you don't think about tons of deep meanings to every little phrase when you write. It's just how -I- think. Couple screws loose up there. Feel free to laugh at me and move on.

And if you're barely skimming through these ridiculously long, mostly pointless reviews, believe me when I say I don't blame you.
