Warning. Spoilers and I kind of made a rant against something merlin thought in this chapter, so if your looking for a review on if this story is good, look elsewhere. Tbh this isn’t a good rant and I don’t think I am leading to a conclusion, but I can’t be bothered to write now. Basically this is me saying Morgana is not evil at this point of the story.

I’ve already reviewed, but I just wanted to add. Since I’m a fervent supporter of Morgana. I’m going to have to correct merlin when he says that Morgana betrayed her friends and family, and tried to destroy everything she once truth, Morgana never really did anything evil (the only time she may have done something evil was in the year she was with morgause). She just did what anyone would do in her situation. I think I would have done the same. She was living with Uther, who hates sorcerers, and would excecute any ASAP, on just circumstantial evidence. He had, in fact, killed innocent people in the past. At the same time she finds out she has magic, and feels she should be able to do more than just try to talk uther out of doing things. Then morgause comes in and she sees an opportunity to help free her people, and herself, so she goes along with it, and then merlin poisons her for uther. Uther. UTHER. and Arthur, which is understandable, except for the fact that he is never going to accept magic. Think about it, since for what 20 years he has accepted his father’s genocide, and merlin will change his mind? It’s more like merlin has made it worse! In an attempt to save Uther no less! Although i do accept Arthur wouldn’t take flimsy evidence as proof, he would kill someone for having magic if there is sufficient proof. Basically Morgana is the only one who can save Camelot from uther, So everyone is asleep until morgause breaks the spell. Before she does that, she would kill Uther and likely Arthur, and give Morgana the throne. Who betrayed their friend? Merlin. Morgana didn’t betray Gwen, and she wasn’t close to merlin. She only betrayed Arthur and utter, as she saw Arthur as a lost cause, and uther is obvious. Though he wasn’t completely a lost cause until merlin decided to stop arthur from killing uther, cementing his view that he was tricked by a sorceress. I think this is a long enough rant against your merlin, far too long. I’m sorry for taking up space in your reviews, but this just has to be said. I get enraged when anyone, especially merlin, misrepresent morgana. The first evil thing she does is in the final episodes of season three, which personally was ooc for her, as she knew, or should have known, that the knights of Camelot would take her killing people for their loyalty as proof that she wouldn’t be a good queen.

I make my farewell, as I think my point has been made far too much. I think I’ll make a warning at the top to not look unless they were looking for a pro-Morgan’s rant.

I’m hoping that merlin will join Morgana and eventually Morgana becomes queen, although I kind of doubt that’s what’s going to happen. I mean, I’ve only found 1 once and future queen fic yet anyway. Anyway, you seem to be a good writer. Not any grammatical mistakes I can see, and the whole chapter flows well, although I’m not much of a critic. I’m more like some random person that likes it.

this is one of the best Merlin fic I’ve read in a while. I couldn’t stop reading as every singe sentence became an addiction and omFG this is the sHIT. This fic is so unique and I applaud for that because to be original and write well is something that’s hard to come across in fan fiction. Other than the occasional punctuation mistakes everything seemed to be fine. I JUST CANT GET OVER HOW GOOD THIS FIC IS AJDKFNSJXNJDND

this. was so. GOOD! on SO many different levels! I started this expecting to get 2 chapters in and then get distracted by life, but the last 2 nights I've been staying up way later than I should in order to binge read this. this whole thing is amazing. just. ugh. I love this.
