To be honest, the way you quote words or even lyrics before the real chapter begin, is a technique I wanted to use, but I can't do it naturally so I have to drop it. It's good to see a nice example from you.

Hayate's coming close to Hinagiku did seem a little too big a change. Maybe it is better if more focus is on Hayate's inner world. However, as it is a story from Hina's POV, Hayate's heart is something not really visible, I guess.

A very interesting read about Hinagiku's struggles with herself and Hayate. Izumi, Alice and even Hina's mom are all cute. They make me smile, really.

I agree Izumi wouldn't do something like this, but I like how you are able to blend in romance with comedy well, like the manga, unlike some other fanfic I read. Emotional yet not the watery eye kind. Story felt a little rush with the whole announcing thing, but overall, I love it.

A bit short and rushed but still good nonetheless although I cannot picture Izumi doing somethng like that, Miki yes especially Aika, but Izumi's more happy go lucky and ditzy but oh well, it was an intersting read nonetheless.
