I really like this one - great interaction between Watson and Lestrade (for some reason I never really liked Lestrade, but he's nice here), and I love how you cleared up some of the minor continuity errors. I can see I'm going to have a great time reading all your SH stories. They're even putting me in the mood to write some SH fics myself, and I write for very few fandoms (at the moment, I'm only doing BLoSC). I can't wait to read more of your work!

OMG! you should write a fanfic where Lestrade finds out Holmes is alive!

Sorry I dropped off the face of the earth (again). I have been very busy as of late (anything I write that sounds slightly fancy or British I blame on you and the Holmes stories of yours that I read less than a minute before reviewing). I have only a minor background in Sherlock Holmes so I am not very helpful on parts relating to cannon. However, I must say that your ability to write characters believably and convey emotion are too good for this website. Your skills are worthy of at least a published short story, if not an actual novel.

Despite being in largely uncharted waters, I have followed your Holmes stories to the best of my abilities. I am now convinced that I could figuratively follow you to the ends of the earth and not regret it even for a minute. From your first actual story (I am unqualified to rate literary parodies, being biased against them), to the latest one I have read, one thing has always remained the same: quality. Your interpretation, if I can use that word, of established characters has been believable and sometimes more realistic than the original. Your original characters have always been interesting; even their names are creative. The plots of your stories are always interesting, even ones that can be described with a single sentence such as this one. Your actual storytelling, I can barely find words to describe it. I dare not attempt to duplicate it for fear of creating a cruel mockery of it. According to you, I can come up with a good plot, but my execution is flawed, very flawed.

I look forward to your original story once it comes out. If could find a way, I'd ask for a signed copy,even pay double for it, but that is probably asking too much.

*smiling really really wide* Lestrade! Watson! Lestrade and Watson! I must admit that I'm a Watson fangirl. If he were my best friend, I'd be happy. And Lestrade is absolutely fantastic! I love the slight variations of personalitity you've given both of them, especilly the sort of quiet intelligence of Watson and the way Lestrade is so patient and understanding even when he thinks that Watson's lied to him. I loved it, it was fantastic, and I want more! :D Spot-on!

This is very good timing. My mom and I saw Final yesterday. So this actually helped with some of the mannerisms of Watson, the sidekick out for a holiday. ;)
