Wow, this is amazing. I just finished reading most of your Cal Leandros stories and they are beautifully written. Your characterization is spot-on and your grammar is perfect, which makes them flow really well. You manage to write really emotional pieces without them sounding forced or contrived, which is a rare skill. I found that this piece in particular was very emotional mainly due to the fact that you "showed" rather than "told". Seeing Niko through the eyes of others really portrayed how focused he is on Cal and made it seem all the worse that theirs lives will never be carefree and normal. I love reading your work, and I hope you produce some more soon!

Original, I liked it! Every girl/woman was different and had her own personality. And not one of them was a Mary-Sue! I'm impressed. ;D

I was just a little confused by the numbers, first I thought it was Niko's age but he was 18 at the time of the trailer fire...
