OHHHHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOO !

This story's plot is dumb considering the existence of dreamless sleep potion and dementors.

With magical healing being a thing along with dreamless sleep potion, this is a very weak plot

Hey, random idea, maybe in such a situation it would be a good idea to only sleep during the day, when no one else is asleep?
I mean, if I understood this correctly, both Harry and Freddy's victim need to be asleep at the same time. So...

Not even jumping the crap chapters maje it better, ñor the stupidity of killing the intelingent one of the stupid trío. But specting something better was to much.

I was just rereading this. Its a pretty good story and you do a good job of merging the two franchises.

Where's the epilogue at?

Oh! Very subtle, took me awhile to realize that Harry has his wand in the first dream because he fell asleep with it on him that one time, while the rest of the wizards didn't have that chance to defend themselves because they didn't fall asleep fully dressed. Great plan of action to shift the odds in Harry's favor long enough for him to impress Freddy. Shame the eye and tongue trauma kept Snape from focusing long enough while awake to be anything but a sitting duck in the next round of dreams, although his eventual death is pretty much a given considering his horrible treatment of Harry here. If he'd had a wand in the face of Freddy mocking him - after the probable round of ineffective curses - I could see him approaching Freddy like a boggart and firing off a Riddikulus - probably to much less effect than a theoretical Springwood wizard might have but hopefully enough to wipe that smirk temporarily off Freddy's face.

Approaching the first attack on a Gryffindor student with a new method of execution thus causing confusion as to it being the same killer or a copycat is a great touch. Having Freddy hold onto a holier than thou persona for long enough to convince the guy that was actually how the townspeople were reacting to him was well done. I definitely enjoy your characterizations of Crabbe and Goyle, in the dream and in Hogwarts, brief as they are.

Nice. I guess they could try Obliviating everyone in Springwood to remove the memory of Freddy? Huh, I wonder what would've happened if they'd tried Obliviating Harry's sleeping mind in hopes of erasing Freddy rather than waking them up? I can see Dumbledore casting Ennervate when confronted by Freddy in his dreams, only for that to cause reality to hiccup and Freddy to wake up in the real world possessing Dumbledore's body...

I much prefer Hellraiser to Nightmare on Elm Street. Pinhead's inevitable and steady, whereas Freddy cheats. Thanks again for writing your Hellraiser stories. This was well-written and, yeah, the adults being mentally handicapped by Freddy and sedating Harry and such is definitely in genre. Probably won't be rereading this like the Hellraiser ones, given that this is an excellent distillation of a character whose tactics and concept I dislike, but the dream sequences are vivid and it had me hooked to the end.

The sheer incompetence is amazing. Why the fuck would you do a Killing Curse against someone who is already dead? What about a combo of Petrification, Ropes, Cruciatus, and at the end a stasis?

Well, this story was good as done. But seriously, you only had one more chapter to do. What happened?

First Thing, If anyone Wants, Instead of writing it to where They Bring Freddy out of the Dream World, well, I'll leave a few words of wisdom. "If You can't Kill what comes out of the Gate, Destroy the Gate Itself." In other words, where Harry is the only "Gate" allowing Freddy into their Dreams, Kill Harry, and Freddy goes Back to Limbo.

Talk about a useless group of bodyguards.
