It's the song that never ends, yes, I see. Think the Doctor and River ever practiced the *snog* that never ends? Um, never mind. A fun little story; 6 out of 10 stars.

Oh my god...I read this whole story smiling and giggling, and then at the end I just burst into tears out of nowhere...It's rare to find a story with a Humor/Tragedy genre. In fact, I think this might be one of the first I've seen...No words. Just fantastic. Funny and sweet and beautifully sad. Excellent work portraying both the Doctor's humorous side and his pain. Just all around incredible work. Loved it, even though I'm still crying as I type this.

wow you truly take this story and turn it on its head, from light humor to a dark angst. It was wonderful and it reminds us the as much as River says "Spoilers" the Doctor has the worst spoiler of all- when and where River dies. Thanks for this story, it really makes you think.

*sniff* okay I don't think I've ever gone from laughing to full on tears-in-eyes-about-to-fall in that short a space of time. Amazing writing.

It started out playful, then got sadder :( (That's a good things, btw, I like -no,love- stories like these :D

I really loved the idea and the possible connections between the Song that Never Ends and the Doctor. Especially since the Ood always referred to the Doctor's life as his song. And you described it very nicely.

I know what you mean about fluf with teeth now. That...wow. Just wow...I hadn't thought before about what 'never ends' might mean to a Time Lord

aw, I think I cried just a little! That was really good although I don't really like the Doctor snapping at her but I suppose after the pain he had to go through it's understandable...

This. Was. Brilliant.

First off, it started out completely hilarious and adorable. This bit, I absolutely love. "The TARDIS had a lot of strange emotions. Like when she bounced upward 0.3 meters and then down 0.6 meters, that was a hiccup. The poor girl got the hiccups a lot if the Doctor didn't keep the atmospheric pressure system under control. But then if the TARDIS bounced 0.5 meters down, 0.3 meters up and then 0.6 meters down, that was a cough. The Doctor claimed there was no difference. River smirked as the wonderful little machine whirled again. "Yes, yes, I know he's insane."" And the war of hats and humming was so wonderful, and I adore the whole thing.

And then you brought in the angst element, and the love behind the Doctor's humming, and the way that he dies, and the TARDIS's very real emotions and mourning for the two that she's lost... And the whole thing was just amazing. Exactly the kind of fic that I love to read. Excellent job. :)

Oh my god. This is so... hilarious and deep and wonderful.

I can't tell you how much I like this. I really can't. Absolutely fantastic.
