Personally I'm Australian and I saw Hey Hey It's Ester Blueburger at the premier, while it has similer themes to St Trinian's I think they are too different to call HHIEB a St Trinian's rip off. For one St Trinian's is a little more light hearted.

The paraells are amazing, that's why this crossover works so well, but the tones and stratedgies employed within the two films are too constrasting.

Or maybe it's national pride mixing with too much film anaylsis in class?

Anyway, great fic, love both movies to death, you are an amazing writer.
