I love the whole 'open but hopeful' aspect of the last bit, and the last sentence 'reveal' thing (sorry; I guessed before that that was what happened), and the whole 'Sasuke has no purpose so therefore he seems smaller thing'.

So she kill someone just to give him a life, to save him. I remember this story nowthat I read it again and is so heartbreaking. I love it

Ahaha, I've actually reviewed this before, but it's just so beautiful that I had to log out and do it again, all these months later.

Yes, I'm STILL periodically rereading this piece just because it's so damn gorgeous. Every time I do I feel like I'm finding something new, a nuance that I missed before (and I've just spotted the ee cummings nod!), and with every reread it's like an entirely different experience.

Painfully beautiful and I honestly prefer your Sakura than the actual one. I think i get it, Sakura essentially saves him with a new start by wiping out his memory leaving him with nothing but his own body, his bones so to speak. And that little boy is basically his new Naruto in a sense.

Why are your fics always so amazing? ;-; I love how you allowed change and growth in Sakura's character (you showed it much better too than canon with that stupid kunai did)and Sasuke, man, he didn't deserve that new start, but in the end he's just a loss little kid and I really like how you make Sakura recognize that. (And yeaaah I feel the itsy bit of narusaku-friendship or more, doesn't matter, they're always adorable-fluff in the middle. :D )

So fucking profound. Ahhhhhhhhh. Love it. That Sasuke is lost and knows it. That Sakura essentially kills him to save him, that she strips him down to the bones of who he is and leaves him! Her walking away That's justice and sacrifice.
