If they cared about him at all they'd want him to leave that shit village and go be happy in one that cared for him. Instead they're still trying to bind him to the shit hole. Obviously this isn't written that well if it goes down that route and keeps him shitty konoha.

Their team should have been disbanded. Trying to cling to it is pointless. They were trash to him and he isn't the same needy child he was in cannon. In the original he wanted attention from anyone. So he put up with bs. This series really doesn't need him to cling to bs like that. If he gets treated like shit, then throw it back at them. Don't bother with the team 7 crap when sasuke would never be allowed back into konoha without his head being removed as a traitor.

Would have been a better chapter if naruto just said fuck it to konoha and bounced. Who would stick around and protect the people who made you suffer? Better to take the people he cares about and leave for somewhere better to live.
