I've reread this story like 10 times within the last week. Or something like that. And it never gets old, it's better with every re-read. This is the perfect portrayal of Ed and Al's relationship and it gives me quite the heaping helping of FEEEEEEEELIIIIIIIIIINGS. Brilliant job.

You know what's lame - on my part, that is? I actually liked this fic so much that I put off reviewing it because I was worried my review wouldn't do it justice. XP But yeah, this fic was absolutely amazing. The characters were brilliant, the writing style was brilliant, and well, okay, this is my favorite topic for FMA fanfic. But you seriously nailed it. I don't even have words to describe how much I loved this story. And I don't even have the capacity at the moment to write you a proper review. Rest assured I would if I could. This is brilliant.

Your characterization was fantastic. And I loved the way that you made Ed overprotective but not overly so, because he knew the best way to help Al heal was to treat him like he would, like he should be, because Ed would know that about his brother. When he asked about the crutch and all he said in reply was, "Good." I just wanted to hug you.

The end of the first part, when they clasped hands and... Ah! It was just so ingenious! I'd like to know if you based your story around that main idea or if it was something that just came to you while you were writing it. It just seemed like the perfect resolution point, I could think of no better way to end that first part then the way you did. Can I marry your story please? Is that legal?

Anywho, this is wonderful, and I would go further into specifics and such if my eyes didn't hurt and I wasn't so flabbergasted! I apologize for my wordlessness, and thank you for writing something so perfect!
