I rather liked the story, up until the end. He forgave her way, WAY too quickly. And when he says that he always knew she would come...total 180 from the way you had him written up until then. You had him broken, without any hope, yet she says some magic words, and suddenly he had hope all along and was just waiting for her to come find him?

Like I said, I like this story, and I like your prequel. But you wrapped it up way too fast.

I love it! The way you portray Arya's feelings, her emotions and thoughts; feels really authentic. Your grammar is excellent too! A denouement-style epilogue, that's all this story needs now to be one of the best stories on this website. Good job!

Your epilogue should talk about what happens after they kiss. Does Eragon move back to the tree house in Ellesmera? Do Arya and him mate? Do they have little elf children? That sort of thing.

Cant Arya just use magic and find Eragon's mind?

Nice, honestly both of your story's are probably the most heart wrenching story's for inheritance cycle, and extremely well written. If you have a chance,in my option maybe the best, a well written story with a bit of heart wrenching is Reversed life by Rainxoxo.

A minor suggestion, given how it's been 32 years since he left, i'm fairly certain Roran would still be alive, if much older, but even if he wasnt, 32 years is surely more than enough time for him and Katrina's child to have grown up (and probably a few more, the rascals), that might be an interesting if minor interaction, the long lost "uncle" (i don't know what a child would call their parent's cousin but roran and eragon where brothers in all but blood so yknow). Also, damn, not one but TWO stories i thought where over years ago being continued. Nice one.
