I love how all my doubts about Justin going back were appeased. I too was thinking, like Justin, what if people thought he was only going back to Brian because he needed him to support him financially, and what if people thought he was a failure because he didn't do as well as he'd planned, but those questions were addressed and then some.. so mercy beaucoup!

Omg, this was perfect. Im almost glad it wasnt in the show though coz it would have made it that much harder for me to watch the ending the first time around. Now that I am at peace with the ending, its awesome to have that gap so beautifully filled! So many feeeeels!

Just read this and I loved it.

Though I am surprised there wasn't a lot of Gus. It would have been nice to see a different take on Gus in regards to new siblings coming into the fold through Brian and Justin.

Like Gus resents the twins. I do think if this happened in canon, Gus would feel like Brian didn't want him due to the conditions he was raised. Think about Mel/Linds make Brian give up parental rights of Gus, Mel is resentful towards Brian and so makes sure at any small moment to criticize his ability and love for Gus, Mel/Linds take Gus/J.R. to Toronto and live there, and while possibly Brian/Justin Ben/Mikey/Hunter could afford to visit them in Toronto, if Britin had children(I mean they already have Gus, but due to Mel/Linds..) they wouldn't be able to visit a lot due to babies needing attention.

Then maybe for Gus to end up hearing that his Dad who he rarely sees is going to have kids with Justin via surrogate and actually raise them 24/7...don't you think Gus would be resentful and hurt and ask why didn't Brian want him?

I'm not mad, but it seems like Brian/Justin just assumed when there is a 50/50 chance Gus could be like Brian doesn't love him..

Wow ... totally different read on the Ethan thing, well maybe not totally ... I never got the feeling that justin regreted being with Ethan before the concert, at least not in a significant way. He provided Justin with something he desperatly wnted - someone to show AND tell him that he was loved, someone not afraid to be voulnerable, someone who gave him his heart - no questions asked. And YES I think he still missed and loved Brian, who wouldn't, but maybe I need to rewatch in light of your thoughts
