I forgot to mention last chapter that I watched your video montage and it was really touching and added quite a lot to the end of the chapter.

Okay, where am I with this one? Oh yes! I love that we got to see Karen this chapter, that was wonderful. And Andy! I thought the scene with Lily and Andy was really good and I'm so glad Karen listened to Luke and didn't punish Lily again. Plus, it was great how Lucas pointed out all those things he did in high school. Lily is quite a dream by comparison. (But, she's still got many more years to come, so watch out, Karen. Raj, anybody?)

The whole thing with Brooke and the twins over the book was a great idea. I would have never thought of that. (And I bet Mark wouldn't have either.) That's some really juicy stuff, but in the end, I'm glad that she gave it back to them, because otherwise they would've found otu anyway, and kids are cruel; they would've just tormented them. I am a little curious about the end with the song and Julian looking at his phone though. I really hope Brulian breaks up. I'm sorry, I just don't like them and never did. *cough*Brooke/Jake*cough*

About Andre, man, I thought he was such a cute kid in the show. It pains me that he's so hostile to Jamie now. I feel like there's something else behind that. You'd think he'd be nicer, them both having suffered a severe familial loss. So what's the deal? I was glad to see Skills' speech shake some sense into him, though.

I feel like there was something else I wanted to comment on too, but I'm forgetting. :-/ Oh well. Please update soon!

Well, I had hoped Lily wouldn't get kicked out, but I figured you'd foreshadowed it, so I wasn't unsurprised when it happened. The Sawyer-Peyton fight was pretty bad, too, and I felt so bad for Peyton. And even Sawyer, 'cause I understand her position to an extent, but I love what Jamie did to make her see the error of her ways. Also, I love that Peyton painted something for Nate after his disappearance. And I was completely shellshocked to discover that Chuck is gay.

Sorry, I don't have a lot to say on this chapter because I'm unfortunately listening to an ugly argument in the background and I haven't been able to concentrate very well, so this review is seriously lacking.

I get the impression that Madison is being sexually abused by her step-father. It would make sense as to why she went to Chuck's instead of going home. And why he expected it, if he knows. Actually, that would answer a lot of questions.

Oh, and I adored the Leyton in this chapter! I always love well written Leyton, but they were just so cute, especially when Lucas wanted her to try on her *tight* cheerleading outfit. And that he had it in the house when he was with Lindsey.

Jamie, as usual, was written masterfully. Such a well rounded character. The shoes conversation with Lydia was adorable and the conversation with Dan was done really well too. The Jamie-Lilly relationship is shaping up nicely as well. I'm curious when we'll get a cameo by Karen though. And how she'll deal when she finds out about Lilly's cheating! I still can't say I'm a fan of Jamie/Madison though. Sorry. But I'm sure that he'll be there to help out with the step-father situation.

I thought Jamie's speech was so perfect: like his dad, but also not like his dad. It was the perfect parallel and contrast, all in one. But Madison said "I'll be seeing you" to Jamie! Noooo! Sorry. It's just that I love Leyton and I love that "I'll be seeing you" is one of their things, but I've never liked Jamie/Madison, I've always been a hardcore Jamie/Jenny shipper. I know there's probably literally no chance of her appearing, but still...I can't help it. Also, it was a surprise to see Jamie lose. But, it makes sense I guess, and he still gets to be on the team. (But I couldn't help but think: he threw the game like his dad...just in Andre's favor and for a little more noble reason, but still.)

Honestly, Sawyer's date didn't hold as much interest to me. I guess I just don't know Adam, so there's not a lot of interest there. Another problem might be that every time I see the name Adam, I think of Adam Conant from "The Secret Circle," and I don't know TV!Adam, who I keep picturing as Adam in this story. That's not your fault, it just happens to be an unfortunate association I'm making.

But I did find the bit with Sasha and Lilly extremely interesting. I never expected Lilly to cheat! Also, I didn't even know you could cheat that way until my professor was joking about it last semester. It's interesting to see it actually put into practice here. I wonder if Lilly will get kicked out of her private school? (And maybe that's why you've set up the Lilly/Raj thing?)

Anyhow, off to the next chapter!

I literally got chills at the end of this chapter. You've written the Lucas and Dan scenes and storyline in a way that is so honest and true to the characters; in a way I never could have imagined. I actually feel this is genuine. It works. I don't necessarily feel that way about how they're trying to redeem him in the show right now, especially without involving Lucas (and Peyton), all the behind-the-scenes getting-Hilarie-and-Chad-back aside. Also, the quotes and the voiceovers this episode were brilliant and it was definitely the new book Luke's writing that gave me the goosebumps. That's quality stuff there!

Whoa, what? Dan saved Sawyer's life? When? Was that when she was four? Brilliant set up! And I thought the conversation between Jamie and Dan was spot on too and very in character. Still, I can't see Lucas ever forgiving or reconsiling with Dan, even if he did save Sawyer's life.

And I'm still hoping Jenny will come back! :P But really, though. Maybe Andre and Madison can date instead? I still hate Chuck...and I'm not surprised to hear that he's on parole. He's such a little jerk.

I LOVED the homage to the pilot! What a great idea! (I'm a little jealous I didn't think of it myself.) Skills coaching the Ravens is perfect and the relationship between Sawyer and Brooke is cute. I also love that Luke is running Keith's garage again. :) I have to admit, I'm very shocked about Julian's potential affair, but I never liked Brulian anyway...so I wouldn't be sad if they broke up. Speaking of, if Jake suddenly came back to town with Jenny and happened to heal Brooke's heart, I wouldn't be opposed to that...Also, I'm a huge Jenny/Jamie shipper - Madison/Jamie, not so much - so I wouldn't mind if Jamie hooked up with Jamie instead of Madison, but, I see that you've set Madison up to be the Peyton of this story, so I doubt that's going to happen. :( Still, though...you should think about it. Jenny/Jamie/Madison the Peyton/Lucas/Brooke of the next generation?

Also, I'm really shocked about Andre's response to Jamie in the preview. These guys used to be so close! What happened? (Probably annoying Chuck. I can't stand the kid, honestly.)
