   MollyMuffinHead chapter 27 . 9/6/2019 First off, I like this story. The idea for the plot gives everyone something to worry about. I've read it a few times because of the parts that I enjoy. That said, there are several huge plot holes that are allowed to contrive the story. They could have limited some of the guys by blood type. The DNA test for the twins only needed to be run if the original test came back to one of them. Why didn't someone offer to put Ranka and Taeko up at a hotel? As for the parents coming after custody, Ranka could have determined that. Or, because the Hitachiin's had double the chance, legally she should have stayed with them. But, if you want to get really technical, if she couldn't stay with Ranka, she would've gone to child services. What about Haruhi's will? She's a lawyer, so she had to have one. it wouldn't have been applicable, but would have shown her intent. I'm sure it gave Ranka custody, going back to my earlier observation. They all have tons of money and/or hotels. Put Ranka and Taeko up in one. I realize it's written the way it is to get the plot you wanted, and I've said I enjoy reading it, but those are a lot of holes to contrive a plot. |
