I love this story so far. Particularly Shen's relationship with the soothsayer and boss wolf "An" and the complex love/hate one he has with his parents. I hope this has not been abandoned and that it will be continued some time soon. You are very talented

I'm starting to wonder if Shen secretly hates all cats, and that's why he gets in Tigress' personal space on the line "You are going to be part of something beautiful." The treatment from these women might be enough to create that kind of mentality. Just a little observation on my part. But they should be careful about what they are bringing to life in their attempts to keep him obedient.

The Wu Sisters are certainly interesting women to get to know. Although, based on that cartoon short, I would think Wing still had her tongue. She has one line in the short, just like Wan does. Either way, I like how you bring the differences in their personalities to light. I wouldn't trust them with a child if they were the last people on Earth. So, I imagine Shen will be put through hell at their paws.

I admire the ten-year-old prince for trying to help put out a fire. Seems ironic when it plays such a part in his future later. But now there's a major security measure to take care of since there's been a kidnapping.

I think this is what started the widening rift between Shen and his parents. Seeing as they didn't take much initiative in his life, it makes sense that he isn't cool with such a development. And what does any unhappy child do but run away?

You know, I like your rendition of the Wu Sisters encounter better. It just sounds more planned out. Also, I suspected that Shen's father had a bit of a dark side. It would explain where Shen himself gets it since he seems to really take after his father. Kind of reminds me of a saying I heard about fathers and their children. "Sons want to be just like their fathers, daughters want to make their fathers happy."

I really like it. I appreciate your insight into the characters, and your impressive research, and attention to detail. I look forward to your next update.
