I always felt that the season 2 ending was a huge mistake.

A lovely oneshot, it brought out the side of Guy we knew was always there. If only Marian had seen it.

This is an intensely romantic piece that is brimful of considered characterisation and a rhythm that makes reading that much more pleasurable. You have a beautiful talent when it comes to words: you are economic and yet still design something rich and bewitching. I truly believed the love between them and share your deep disappointment with the Season 2 Finale. In fact, generally, I reject it. This fanfiction serves as an epic aid and works very effectively in recreating the next passage of their journey. I anticipate reading more of your work on this couple and whatever other treasures you shall gift.

Be careful with colloquialisms e.g. "she fully expected him..." - but generally this was okay, and your language connects to the context that the story was set it, thus the authenticity is excellent.

I'm puzzled- are Marian and Guy supposed to be 'close' as a couple? Or is it their noticeable 'hostility' towards one another part of the, you know, 'first night of marriage' idea? Or is Guy's '"unpredictable"-ness the cause of this?

I'm not really sure what else to say, but I'd be happy to continue reading more of this (: I really connected to the character of Marian, and it was interesting to see what Guy is like from her perspective, of sorts, and not another's.

Sweet! :) I agree, there can never be enough Guy/Marian ANYWHERE. I would have loved to know more about the circumstances of their marriage here, and ... also, I'm not sure I can see Guy giving up THAT easily when Marian shrinks away from him on their wedding night. I mean, I don't think he's FORCE her, but I think he'd make a little more effort, and frankly he'd probably show some anger as well. The man does have anger management issues. ;-) The last two vignettes were great though (though I think you mean "not entirely unwelcome" at the end, not "unwelcoming"?).
