That made me laugh so hard I snorted, multiple times. Very cute! Slightly out out of character in the way that all non-canon-pairing fics get sooner or later, but the dialogue seriously kept the plot grounded with the characters. Loved it.

That was extremely, brazenly, crashing-and-smashing-all-levels-of-awkward RED. Fantastic job at animating everyone 100% in character, or for the moves that weren't in-character, writing them in a totally in-character way (with the suprise and acknowledgement that the move was out of character).

Your grammar or punctuation wasn't 100%, but the chapter was literate, layered, funny and a fast read. Excellent job. Keep it up~!

I like your premise, the sleepover-closet-setting is simple yet believable. The dialogue was very realistic and in-character as well, so far. However, Red's italicized thoughts could use a little work. It's nothing too bad, and it may be hard to gauge since Eoin Colfer never shows us Red's thoughts in the actual book. But I felt Red would have been more literal or blaise with his attraction, even if-especially if-he's trying to deny it to himself. For instance, when Fletcher falls out of the closet, Red says in his head that this is unfortunate because he could have, awkward pause for excuse, taken a picture. I think it would feel much more like Red if he described the heat leaving his arms and torso(or "hug area") as Fletcher fell out of his arms. Then it wouldn't be necessary for him to comment on whether this was fortunate/unfortunate or why. Make sense?

Anyways, great beginning and I look forward to reading the other chapters. Always a pleasure to meet another Half Moon fan~ :)

I did think that Fletcher was a bit OoC (you know, the crumpled letters with the 'Red I love you' and the hearts), but I can't actually be sure, 'cause it's been... five years since I read the book.

A bit embarrasing at some points, but all in all, very well done. :)
