What a brilliant chapter this is! so funny, intense, and touching all at once. I love all the little things Erik does that Charles takes exception it - why he took up fencing in the first place, liking the color of bruises, and stripping down without a thought - each one made me lol and also fits his personality so perfectly. What a clever fencing duel you write between them.

I freakin' love this chapter. The build-up is great at creating curiosity over who/why Erik wants Charles to locate, and the final lines are such a perfect, hilarious twist!

Wow, I think this is one of my favorite Charles/Erik shots ever. I love the way you deal with Erik's past trauma here; it's so intense yet subtle at the same time. I also love how Charles handles the whole trip to the dentist, how he's all business and even sarcastic at times, because he understands that's what Erik needs from him. Wonderful work.

Wow, I am so impressed by how you more you pack into this already intense, loaded scene. Charles forcing Erik to come inside the plane and his screaming and nearly breaking Erik's concentration added an edge of antagonism to this scene, where they'd always seemed so unified and concerned for each other to me. That final line packs a punch, but I like that you've made me look at this scene in a new way.

This is so great. I love how Erik is still sexy and funny, even when he's being an asshole (and let's face it, he makes a good point about Charles learning to use his powers under duress). What priceless last lines!

I liked all of these chapters very much, the serious and funny kindErik getting addicted to the internet was great!

Oh my gosh, this is hilarious. I love the fun, sexy edge you write into this scene. Emma is hilarious, and I love how she's able to get ahead of Charles even in this situation. I almost lost it at "A bit too quick with the bedposts, there"! Erik's reaction is great, too.

Man, I would really love to see an expansion of this chapter. I love the anger between them here - especially that intense moment when Charles punches him, heheh - and how they are both willing to be completely ruthless in protecting the students. That "You didn't even occur to me" packs such a punch. I just wish I knew where they went from here!

Haha, this is too funny. The idea of Erik getting addicted to the Internet is pretty bizarre, but I love it, and I love how his and Charles's roles have reversed from Erik telling him to log off Cerebro. I've always thought Charles's brain is basically like his own personal Internet, before the Internet existed.

Oh my, what a fun chapter. I'm impressed by how well you made a chapter entirely in dialogue work. I also love how getting all hot and bothered with Charles makes Erik's power go "haywire." He finds a goldmine and fixes their car - clearly they need to do this more often!

So it's a no... fair enough

Man, what an emotional chapter. Even though they're having one of their tiffs, I really enjoyed it and could see a lot of the good in their relationship. Erik admits what he's been up to, warns Charles about the school, and even uses the words "frightens me," which is a really vulnerable thing for Erik to admit, I think. I *loved* Charles's line about how he would go to Erik and beg his for help - but then, just when they're so close to almost getting along, you have to rip my heart out and stomp on it!

Hahaha, his is such a funny, sharp scene of all three of them. I love their reactions, and there are a lot of good lines that change the feeling of the story - "Just because you don't want me," "Your best friend's baby sister?" "Charles, I'm touched." Big of Charles to pretend he isn't jealous here!

Haha, oh my, what a predicament poor Erik gets himself into here. I felt bad for him, but I also couldn't help laughing. This is such a clever idea, and very well-written on your part!
