Actually, John's grammar was correct. 'You and I' would be wrong in this circumstance. It's a common mistake.

Hi, this story is so far so great, but when Sherlock corrects John's grammar, it's actually supposed to be 'you and me'.

You do always put the other person first, but an easy way to check if you should use 'I' or 'me' is to take out the other person and read it again. If it still makes sense, then you used the right one.

So as Sherlock's corrected sentence would be, 'telling her friends about you and I,' if you take out the other person, you get 'telling her friends about I,' which doesn't make sense.

I really enjoy this story and am looking forward to reading more! :)

Can't believe I've only just discovered you and this wonderful story! Still better late than never.

I hardly even know where to start in reviewing this. It's clever, classy and so in character. I love the banter between John and Sherlock and the plot is completely convincing. The whole thing is entertaining, riveting, witty, hilarious. The Fake Sex scene - sublime!

The flashback scenes are tragic and painful but fifteen year old Sherlock is pitch-perfect. Big bro Mycroft is glorious.

I am quite a fussy reader - which sounds pretentious, I know, but it is true - so to find a writer of your calibre in ff is a godsend! Thank you, God!

This was so incredibly enjoyable. I loved learning more about Sherlock’s complicated past and seeing how enthusiastically John went along with Sherlock’s plans and supported him. I swear that staged sex scene is just as hot and loving as a real one would have been. Lovely story.

hate to be nitpicky, but sherlock's correction of john's grammar is wrong. the correct phrasing would actually be "you and me" not "you and I"
