So good!

This is a review made for one reason and one reason only: I. HATE. ROMANCE. AND. RULE. 34. OBSESSED. BRONIES. AND. THEIR. GOD-AWFUL. FANFICS!

It's, just, so, CUTE! The interactions between Applejack and Soarin practically melted my heart and I honestly think this was quite impressively done! The two of them seemed like a match made in heaven and my only real complaint is that you didn't write out Rainbow Dash's reaction to being offered to fly with the Wonderbolts. That would have been Diamond Quality Comedy in my opinion, but it does nothing to diminish the quality of such a fine work!

This story is hilarious, interesting, original, touching, and unique.

Ok, this might just be my new favourite fanfic. DEFINATEY my new favourite pairing. This was the cutest thing ever, and I've gained so much new respect for Applejack, for just being such a down-to-earth decent pony. All of this was totally plausible with respect to cartoon, and I loved all the little jokes like "I know a guy who says he can do that..." and I lolled hard at "err grass IS edible". I beseech you to write more soarinjack because I'd love to see how things develop between them, or just read more of their adorable shenanigans. The only possible criticisms I have are that Rainbowdash came accross as slightly skitzophrenic about the wonderbolts, but i might have just been reading it wrong with hindsight to the ending, and also that I thought in places Applejack might have been slightly too upfront, given that male attention is very out of the ordinary for her, but this is a minor point and very subjective. Overall, awesome job _

Wow, never would have thought of this pairing before. Still, it's built up well and everything feels very natural and in-character. I think you've made me a believer.

Wonderful, emotive story overall; the characterization of Applejack and Dash were perfect, and the improvisation for Soarin's more serious aspects was equal parts awesome and heart-warming. His name, "Soarin von Richtofen," is easily ten percent more awesome than (probably) whatever they might come up with in canon.

All-in-all: Nine-point-five outta ten! Damn good job!

That might have been one of the most adorable things I've ever read. You did a great job fleshing Soarin into a real character, and the chemistry between him and Applejack was perfect. Great work!

Another plus, it's heterosexual, which for this fandom, it's saying something.

It made me smile and d'awwwwwwww all the way through. From a night spent reading The Twilight War, Shades of Pink, Guardian, other grimdark stuff and listening to Lustmord and Two Steps From Hell, this was a welcome break.

Okay. Now that that's out of the way: this is pretty damned awesome, and you're a great writer. One thing: "sarcastic, half-lidded stare" appears pretty frequently in the first dozen paragraphs, and I'm not sure that "sarcastic" is really the emotional signifier you want. Other than that: amazing. Now, I'm-a go read Semper Fidelis.

It's really nice seeing a fanfic which isn't obvious and spelled out entirely after the first two scentences. Great job! I haven't seen this shipping before, and I really enjoyed the story! It's believable and subtle compared to otjer fics, and that's something I've wanted to see for quite some time. I actually thought about writing one myself, but I have other projects that will be taken care of first.
