This is honest-to-God one of my, if not the, best fanfiction I've ever read. I just finished rereading it and I still love it to bits; this fanfic will never grow old for me. Naminé and Roxas are firmly established as enemies in the beginning, yet their relationship is never in the same place for too long. Every fight slowly brings them together and seeing the payoff in the ending is so worth it! It was so satisfying when they finally forgave each other. Their development is so natural yet confusing, which is honestly a really good spin on the enemies-to-lovers trope.

I like that they're not the only focus as well! Sora and Kairi get their little moments, which I think were nice. I also thought it was a good idea for Riku and Xion to hit it off, even if Xion was putting up a front. It's nice to see how they were both parallels of one another with Riku letting Kairi go and Xion wanting to desperately fight for Roxas even if she cornered herself.

Speaking of Xion, can we just talk about your portrayal of her here? Because I love it. I love it so much. So many Rokunami fanfics tend to demonize Xion and completely twist her character by making her a total bitch for the sake of the plot, but I always thought that was really lazy writing. You not only portrayed Xion accurately to herself in-game, but you also made her contrast Naminé without sacrificing her character. Thank you, for staying true to Xion and her character.

It's been years since you've published this so you probably don't read the reviews to this anymore, but I just want you to know that you did an amazing job with writing this. It's a fanfic that I will always love and remember, and it's because you wrote it. So thank you.

This story is both painful yet good at the same time

This story is perfect... if only rom com writers could be as good as this I'd actually watch more of them! great job on this story and I thank you for completing it since I first started reading way back when.

I'm reading this again for what feels like the millionth time, but no longer as a bright-eyed teenager. XD
It's fascinating how despite growing up with this fic in my preteens amongst a plethora of other RokuNami fics, this one really still sticks to me; and personally? Still really enjoyable as an adult. Good work! :)

I can't believe I finished 240,000 words in less than 3 days (between breaks, school and sleeping hours; it's understandable I took that long to finish it)

It's been an amazing story to read.

240,000 words take about 1846 minutes to read. 1846 minutes are 30 hours. So I spent 30 hours, or more, reading this story, but it sure didn't feel like it was that long. I enjoyed every bit of it, mostly the first and last chapters. Those two are my favorites. I went to read the first chapter after finishing the last one and it felt so WEIRD. The difference is so big that it made me snort, HAHAH. Oh man, it's been a ride! I feel bad about Xion. She was my favorite character during the 3/5 of this story. The other 2/5 of it made me change my mind (I was rooting for Namine the whole time), but I still have respect for her. She's one of the funniest characters. Also, she was the one who got Namine and Roxas together, after all. It's kinda sad that it backfired on her, but like, what were you expecting girl xD

I also never felt bored while reading this story because of the humor and the dynamic that the characters had while chatting. I laughed so hard most of the time! Your humor is exactly like mine, that's why I was hooked to this story since I read the summary, while I was trying to find a good fanfic to read. I'm glad I came across this one.

Sorry for the long message. I don't even know if you're still active on this website or if you're even going to read this review at all, but I just felt like expressing my thoughts on this story. I'm very late but, congratulations on finishing this masterpiece!

I'll say it right now. The parting scene between Roxas and Xion had me in tears. So sad.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this entire story, it was great to see how much effort you put into the story and it was a blast to read it during lunch when I had the chance. I felt pretty disappointed in the end because I thought it was really going somewhere in that room (both Roxas and Namine) but ultimately it halted there, I would've loved to see it continue but I get that you lost touch with the story, still though an epilogue would've been nice as I really would like to wonder what would Xion do in like 5 years or something and how both Roxas & Namine and Sora & Kaira would interact as they went to college and such. Not a lot of stories here have immense detail and go past the "first kiss" to tell more about their life together, still though this one felt very close to that and I do thank you for finishing up the story!
