| Tonsoffandoms chapter 22 . 7/26/2018 I’ve never read a story where Merlin erases everyone’s memories; however, it was well done and for the right reasons so I think it fits well enough with the characterization. Gwen was a dear, as always, but I wish we saw Merlin explain to all of his friends what really happened six months before (because he would feel guilty not telling them). I think them hearing about Merlin “going evil” would be funny. Besides that, I like the way you captured Arthur and Merlin’s friendship, for it felt authentic. Thank you for the story! |
| tremaCEE chapter 22 . 7/7/2018 This was both hilarious and intriguing. I still wish (a little bit) that the original memory stayed, but that Arthur got to find out the truth about what Morgana did to Merlin. It's sad to know that Arthur started to think Merlin was evil before his memories were wiped. Anyway, the memory wipe was a good thing, especially for people like Leon, Uther and the other citizens of Camelot. Merlin would have banished himself and struggled to protect Camelot from the shadows. Which couldn't be good, considering that Morgana is becoming smarter and more powerful. Geoffrey is really smart. He's the real hero here. If not for the spell he provided, Merlin and Camelot would have been doomed. |
