I can't tell you how excited I was when I saw that you'd updated this story. Another great chapter! I like Bobby's comment about Joanne always being so "pent up", and how it seems like he is actually trying to make her happy, in his own way. I can't wait to see how Joanne responds to Bobby's proposal. The poor guy has the worst sense of timing in the world.

The whole 'plans' conversation made me think of some musical, but I can't remember what it was called and that pisses me off hahahahahafuck

Besides my saddening turmoil, I'm all fluttery with feels from the ending. It was the perfect ending to such an depressingly intense sex scene. I mean, finally. Finally. FINALLY I love you so much. The entire thing with Joanne feeling so insecure because sweet ol' Larry hasn't looked into her was - though this is not to say that it was expected, I mean I was completely taken aback by her fierce reaction to being ignored - spot on, her desperation so heart-aching and yet unavoidable. As said before her frustration with buttons was utterly adorable. The dialogue was amazingly excellent, having been intellectual and insightful to the character's thoughts and entertaining and then super duper sexy. I was hooked from the first two words: Five Days.

I felt bad for my geeky fan-girl teeny-tiny rant for the previous chapter, so I made it my mission to give a more elaborate review. I can't wait to see how Joanne and Bobby will handle the situation tomorrow; will it be awkward? Will it blossom into something more... Friendly? Will they shrug their shoulders and smile at one another when it appears to be no biggy? I'm eagerly, adherently awaiting, my dear! Until then, I bid you adieu - Gillies

Really, really awesome chapter. You're very good at writing sex scenes. I still find it incredibly awkward and embarrassing trying to write sex scenes, which is a bit unfortunate as a couple of my fics have more than a few. Also, I have a line in one of my still unfinished fics that very strongly implies that Joanne has no problem with handcuffs, so I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who thinks that. :P I really love your portrayal of Joanne's insecurity, and the way that Bobby kind of doesn't know what to do with her. I also like the double-standard she has when it comes to buttons - it's sort of adorable.

Is this the last chapter or is there going to be some sort of resolution of what's going on with Larry?

I really love this story. The interactions are very in character, and Joanne meeting April was hilarious. I hope to see more in future!

I really loved the revival of company quite recently in America, and especially the role of Joanne , played by the omni-talented Patti LuPone. However, the situation between her and Larry always confused me. This story is utterly brilliant, using specific lines from the musical, and capturing the characters voices perfectly. It made me dig out the DVD and watch it again. Thanks.
