This was beautifully written. Both their thoughts (though mainly his as it was in his POV) was heart warming, even if they were only just one sentence (the ones in italics I mean). I think you stuck to Minato's general personality quite well. I say general because it's really actually the player that makes up his personality in the game, but he is usually described as quiet and distant.

The way you've written their contrasts have been done wonderfully and in the end, they are meant to be together as one.

I found this heart warming and bitter sweet. Their last thoughts were a perfect way to end this one-shot ("I'm leaving." / "Not without me."). I loved this a lot because it's style and the way it's written was really beautiful and it does make my eyes watery.

Great job. I really like the Minato and Minako pairing now. If I can find more that are as great as your's, I'll be a happy reader.
