and just like that other guy down below, pedestal was (and still is) one of the best fan fictions I've ever read, 'the final battle's comes second, definitely like your stories better
And no matter if and when you decide to update, we'll always be waiting for you, patiently and totally not pushy

I was enjoying reading this, why'd it end?

I'm so disappointed. So, so unbelievably disappointed right now... Pedestal was one of my favorite series and I had a blast reading through RMWJ, and both works were absolute masterpieces (even if I thought that the final showdown between Nick and our main character in Pedestal dragged on a tad too long). It just pains to me to have to let go of this fanfic and its incredible plot simply because some jackasses couldn't handle getting the regular updates they where never promised. If you want to write a different fan fic the rest of us can just deal. This is one of the best fan fic I have ever read, and if you decide you want to finish it someday, then I'll be ready and waiting.

This was awesome. I had finished reading Pedestal a while ago but I don't know Skitty had made something else! I'll admit it had me bawling when Mitzi died, Maya's Pokemon too. The references to Pedestal were hilarious, or were they even references? Could the names just have been a coincidence? Likely not and hopefully not. It's great to read the mighty words of Digital Skitty again. Thank you for writing such an awesome story!

Long time fan and only writing a comment now, but please keep writing! I LIVE for your stories!

either they have magical Chansey or Audino that can heal practically any wound, or they don't. And if they don't it's not really pokemon, is it? It's fine to make things more gritty as opposed to slapping pokeballs into the PC and having them instantly healed in virtual space, I guess. But this is more like Heal Pulse and Softboiled don't even exist? So far special attacks have been rare and muted. I tend to think of pokemon as the result of some ancient lost tech involving augmented reality that resulted in artificial beings. The unown in the third movie creating a temporary Entei supports this theory, I think. The unown are like a swarm of linked supercomputers hidden all over the world underground, but these days they are mostly dormant.

Oh, this was absolutely amazing. I love how you portrayed the characters and their interactions. I nearly cried at many times (Cough cough Mitzi cough). I loved the part when Zachary and the other Sinnohan people came over to Unova. Your writing is a stunning piece of beauty. Keep it up! I can't wait for the next chapter!

For what it's worth, this story of yours was, in my opinion, your best work on ffn. Too bad it had to be cancelled due to the mindless ramblings of some faceless angry keyboardmonkeys. Honestly didn't find anything too terribly flamy. But I've surfed the intetwebz for more than a decade and seen some real sick, twisted comments in that time. Then again, I certainly didn't read all 600reviews in detail. Just skimmed admittedly, as I don't much care what reviewers have to say-the author words are the only ones that matter.
Still, reviews seemed to praise the author overall (whether for talent in character development or ability to screw with readers' emotions). Sorry for those reviews you didn't like. Cancelation is understandable for that reason, and I respect your decision. It's just too damn bad that those idiots had an effect on someone as successful as you.
Hopefully Maya, Lala, and her girlfriend made out okay in the end haha.

Wonderful story right here. Ree's training "ability" has been growing, and it has been amusing to see how this has been achieved. Ree's temperamental behavior has really worked wonders and the effects this has had on her companions are quite intriguing. So far, it appears that this story's focus is a lot more physical than Pedestal. I wonder what would happen once the mental aspect starts kicking in...

So we get our new man to chase after. A black marketer thriving off of the freedom trainers are given in Unova. Interesting moral situation there. Loved how you used this as the reason why Syre followers bled into Unova so quickly, the fact that the really is concern.

What excites me the most is how this story would lead into the situation of Transgression and Regret. I would be really excited to see how this whole series ties itself together and produces the strongest collection of stories in pokemon fanfiction.

One part that I feel lends to this stories astonishing success is how realistic Ree is. Maybe not realistic as in "I would run away from my boyfriend to hide my pregnancy", but realistic in the sense of how she interacts with others. Having your pokemon shot by a poacher would generate that response and I'm sure realizing the power you have after stumbling through 4 badges would cause you to make rash decisions. Her vendetta against Elesa is something I can see and have created in my life before. Her fear of Scott is something I can see.

Off the top of my head, there is really only one problem I've seen. I really believe that Maya would fight the gift of Lala. I simply don't believe she would have taken her so easily with how you have worked with Maya.

Overall, you have pulled a really full character from a unique situation, and good job on you for that.

A question that I may ask here is probably one that you have heard many times: In the future, would you consider re-continuing this? Maybe after you finish bbac and have the time to do so?
