I know you wrote this forever ago, but I rarely review and felt the need to do so. This fic...it was brilliant. Everything about it was wonderful. And each chapter made me cry for different reasons. Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece.

This whole fic has been traumatic! But also wonderful, thank you. You write them both so well, and you're so so good at the emotional side of things, it's brilliant to read.

Really I should review all the chapters separately, but I mostly wanted to praise you for a truly amazing roller coaster of an emotional ride. Each chapter evoked particular responses, I found it refreshing to have John standing up for himself whilst retaining his caring role in Sherlock's life. I've just been re reading most of your stories, I love them, so thanks. This one goes very deep in their relationship, I think, especially Sherlock asking John to stay in sight of the cameras.

That bit about Sherlock helping carry Emily's Memory made me cry. Beautifully written.

You twice gave me the sudden urge to cry in the space of two chapters: "I just stared down at Justin Mathers, realizing he'd been waiting for a friendly face. He hadn't wanted to die alone." ...and... "I promise I won't delete her, I'll keep her forever." Fantastic, thank you.

Holy crap, you are an amazing writer. Seriously every story I read of yours just gets better and better. You are one of my top favorite writers and I can't wait to read more.

I'm actually crying. That was beautiful, and by far the sweetest, Sherlockest thing i've read yet. I love the idea of Sherlock trying to do this for John, and I adore the way you found for him to honestly empathize/mourn for a girl he doesn't know. One definition of a "round" character is one who can surprise the reader without going ooc and unbelievable-your Sherlock did just that. Well done!

wow. this is well written, though i knew from the first chapter that the killers choice of victims had something to do with the surgeries. the way you write john is amazing, and the slash is so subtle that i could nearly read it as a canon fic.
