Oh. my god! This was so sweet and beautiful. I really felt the love there.

I have to say that this was literally written like a professional book, I could not even practically see the scenes , but I could even smell the coffee, hear the boy's voices, everything. I really and seriously felt like I was there, watching a movie instead of reading ebony words on a blank page.

The characters were so realistic, too, I loved the way they interacted, and the way you skipped between the different events in Matthew's life with fluid ease. :)

As a hopeless romantic, I kinda wish the ending had been more fluffy, but I guess that doesn't really fit them or the way this is written, so beggars can't be choosers XDD

I cannot tell you how much i absolutely love this story. I first read this ages ago. And i have read it so many times after i can't even remember. I pretty much know this by heart, but i still like to go back and read. One of my favourite EngCan stories ever.

You never cease to amaze me in everything you've written. Honestly, from the description to the characterization, you always get it spot on. Lovely story, as always :)

Reading this again, even seven months later, hasn't changed my views of this story at all.

It's absolutely amazing, with a stunning storyline and wonderful characters.

Sure, they're kinda pre-made, but you make them unique.

Description played a big role with that. Take burnt coffee and sweat for example; appealing to a readers senses is a wonderful thing. You also describe the cafe amazingly, giving it character and a cozy, homey feel.

I also love Matthew's character growth, from quite shy college freshman, to basically graduate/young adult, keeping his.. almost childish atmosphere in tact.

Basically, God we need more writers like you, and I really need sleep, because it's 12:23 and I have a Chem test tomorrow.

But, um, yes. I love this. The slow and natural progression of their relationship, yes. And coffee shop AUs are my favorite thing in the world, so. You are quite possibly my favorite person in the world at this moment :D

Unfortunately it was closed because the city council stuck its nose in there with the city development plan as a sorry excuse. The woman who created the cafe had been promised some time before that she'd be able to buy the place. So far it had been rented. And then they sprang this on her.

I fell in love with that place. So did many others.
