On one hand, I love this story. The world is fascinating, the characters are great-if somewhat canonically warped, I'll trust that the TV show you're crossing it with is responsible with-and your style of prose actually very neatly mixes show and tell with a simplistic style that packs a scorching punch during the important scenes. And the dialogue is great. And you're pretty good at writing delectable smut, too.

On the other hand, if you're factoring Forests of the Night into this timeline, I really really hope that you're going to treat the situation and issues with respect. I'm a pretty solid k/k shipper, and since I enjoy some good dubcon as much as the next girl that was most of the reason I stopped reading FotN, but I was also made uneasy by how, after establishing very skillfully that Enishi was a creep that makes the skin crawl you seemed to be sliding towards romanticizing Enishi in FotN. You've implied he raped Tomoe, and he certainly did so to Kaoru, since whether she liked it or not there was no ability to say 'no' on her part.

So please? I *love* this story; it's rare to find really quality, IC AU in this fandom, especially so fascinatingly and on-the-edge-of-your-seat well written as this one is. You just seem to be hovering over my squick buttons with a big fat hammer in preparation to smash down. If you're going to stick FotN into a more serious storyline, I'm really hoping you don't make light of the situation.

Really great story, I'm loving it! OMGosh Yumi is all evil again and Tomoe is mince meat? Is her soul/spirit in the Kitty that spit up battousai hair? And Enishi now has the Sakabatou ...

So Battousai, Yumi, and Jineh are all evil again, that just leaves Enishi without soul-sucking powers out of all of them. Waa ... . I can't wait to see what is going to happen!

I love your witty humour XD The story is serious yet amusing and funny to read at the same time. I read the E/K lemon on and loved it very very much, and just HAD to read the story that it came from. Edodale is a very original fic name, I don't think it's bad at all I had enjoyed reading Edodale so far and will continue to read ~

PS: Is this going to remain Battousai/Kenshin X Kaoru, or will Enishi be a worthy rival in this love triangle ...? I love E/K~ Give 'nishi-san a chance! (or several) Heh There's too many B/K and K/K out there . Poor Enishi needs love too~~

Kewl. I read a RK-Buffy x-over before this one, but I say this one's much better (the other one had Misao as Buffy, Kenshin as Guiles n Aoshi as Angel.) ;-) The more I read the more I liked.
One thing: shouldn't Megumi be more traumatized from the torture Enishi dished out to her? Megumi's a strong girl, but besides being creeped out by Tomoe she's getting over it real quick. I'm not saying she should wallow in self-pity for a month and have tons of angst but her getting back to life as usual mindset in less than a day feels unrealistic to me.
Anyway I've enjoyed this throughly. Without wanting to sound gushy, it makes you crave for more. I'm very glad I checked it out.
